Both the A-pose and the main pose were created, allowing for in-depth study of the character’s posing and facial expressions. In particular, I analyzed various emotions and situations to achieve natural expressions, aiming to visually convey the character’s playfulness and strong personality. I also greatly enjoyed working on the subtle changes in clothing wrinkles that vary depending on the pose.
Expressing the tension of curly hair and tied hairstyles on a Black female character was a significant challenge. However, observing the differences between baby hairs and main hair strands, and creating the curly flyaway hairs around the twisted and tied sections, became an engaging and rewarding experience. I made an effort to preserve fine details until the very end in order to vividly convey the charm of this distinctive character.
